Payment Systems Business Analyst
As part of the development of our activities in the banking sector, we are looking for a Business Analyst specialising in payment methods to work on strategic projects related to payment infrastructures and the transformation of payment systems.
You will participate in major projects involving the modernisation of payment platforms, regulatory compliance and the development of new payment services.
These assignments will involve working on topics such as:
- SEPA (SCT/SDD)
- Instant payments (SEPA Instant/Instant Payment)
- Bank cards
- SWIFT
- International transfers
- Payment platforms and clearing systems
Your responsibilities
Your daily routine as a Payments Business Analyst:
Working with the business, product, operations and IT teams, you will be required to:
- Gather and analyse business requirements related to payment processes.
- Lead workshops with the payments business teams and IT teams.
- Write detailed functional specifications and user stories.
- Participate in the development of payment systems and transactional platforms.
- Performing impact analyses on existing systems
- Supporting payment infrastructure modernisation projects
- Acting as the interface between business teams and technical teams
- Participating in testing, functional acceptance (UAT) and production phases
- Contributing to the improvement of payment processes and associated tools
Your profile
We are a good fit if you have the following skills:
- You have 5 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- You have significant experience in the banking sector.
- You have worked on projects related to payment methods.
- You are familiar with systems and standards such as: SEPA (SCT/SDD), SEPA Instant, SWIFT, bank cards, international transfers, clearing and settlement.
- Ideally, you have worked with solutions or platforms such as: Swift Alliance, payment hubs, clearing platforms, card systems
- You are comfortable in complex IT environments
- You are proficient in Agile/Scrum or V-cycle methodologies
- You have excellent analytical and communication skills
