Banking business analyst
As part of the development of our activities in the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (5 to 10 years’ experience) to work on major transformation projects with major players in the banking industry.
At the heart of these projects, you will play a key role in aligning business needs with IT solutions in complex and highly regulated environments.
You will be involved in areas such as retail banking, investment banking, payments, risk and compliance.
Your responsibilities
Your daily routine as a Business Analyst:
Working with business teams, IT teams and project stakeholders, you will be required to:
- Gather, analyse and challenge business requirements
- Lead functional workshops with project management and IT teams
- Draft detailed functional specifications and user stories
- Conduct impact analyses on existing systems
- Participate in regulatory transformation projects (KYC, AML-CFT, Basel, ESG, etc.)
- Liaise between business and technical teams
- Support development phases and coordinate functional acceptance testing (UAT)
- Participate in production roll-out and functional support phases
- Contribute to the improvement of business processes and tools
Your profile
We are a good fit if you have the following skills:
- You have 5 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- You have significant experience in the banking sector
- You have a good understanding of banking products and processes
- You are comfortable in complex IT environments
- You are proficient in Agile/Scrum or V-model methodologies
- You have excellent analytical, summarising and communication skills
- You know how to thrive in demanding and highly regulated environments
